How to convert PDF to Markdown

  1. 1Drop a PDF file onto the upload area or click “Browse PDF” to open the file picker.
  2. 2Wait for the file to load — the page count will appear beside the file name.
  3. 3Click “Convert and Download .md” to receive a Markdown file. Text is extracted per page and separated by horizontal rules.
  4. 4Headings are automatically detected based on font size relative to the page median. Larger text becomes # or ## headings.
